Mark your calendars! The Board of Directors set the date, place and format for this year’s event: Sebago Chapter Membership Night & Fund Raiser. Our survey revealed the membership would support either a full blown banquet or a smaller event like the year before. The Banquet will take place on Saturday, April 9 at the Betsy Ross House in South Portland. This will mark the 32nd year that the chapter has made a commitment to support Maine’s fisheries.
This year’s event will combine the best both worlds: we’ll have the Maine sporting camp stays, guided fishing trips and the fly fishing gear up for auction and a speaker with some great pictures too! We’ll do it in a setting that allows us to mingle and interact better, and involve more of the membership. Done right, we raise enough to support all of our current activities over the upcoming year, and do it with a very affordable ticket price - $20. We’re limiting ticket sales to 85 and making them available to chapter members first...there won’t be sales at the door.
